Description

The Metal Profiles aluminium sloping coping system provides a modern weathertight solution to parapet walls & terraces. The coping is coated with external grade polyester powder paint that provides long term durability and carries a fire class rating of A2-s1,d0.

Each 1m length of coping is supplied with between 1-2nr fixing brackets, the number of brackets is based on aluminium thickness and coping width. The fixings brackets are used to secure to the top of the wall allowing the installation of the coping that is simply clicked in place. A roll of EPDM tape will be provided with every 10m of coping ordered, this is for use with each bracket to provide an EPDM seal.

Metal Profiles Sloping Coping System offers two downstand sizes as standard:

  1. Internal Leg of 75mm, External Leg of 100mm.
  2. Internal Leg of 75mm, External Leg of 125mm.

All Metal Profiles aluminium copings products are polyester powder coated in a wide variety of RAL/BS colours to meet your project’s needs. The above table provides insight into the coping width recommend application conditions, if you are unsure on your required coping width, simply measure your wall and apply to the matching ranges. The table also provides some indication on the amount of included brackets required for each 1m length and the other available options for different coping width/thickness.

The overall standard measurement of the coping will include an additional Internal 75mm down-stand & External 100-125mm down-stand with 10mm return either side of the Sloping coping system, this will be added onto the required coping width to achieve your overall coping girth.
